Arrive at Istanbul Airport. Transfer to hotel in Sultanahmet. Evening walk along the Hippodrome and Sultanahmet Square.

Yes. Hagia Sophia was restored as a functioning mosque in 2020 and is open for all five daily prayers. Non-Muslim tourists are admitted outside prayer times.
Turkey is a Muslim-majority country and the vast majority of restaurants serve halal food. Alcohol is available in some tourist-area establishments but is easy to avoid.
April–May and September–October offer the best weather — warm, uncrowded, and pleasant for sightseeing. Summer (July–August) is very hot and extremely busy.
